Vernette Conrad has seen Victoria Park emerge from a vision for a new hometown to one of the best master planned communities in Florida. Along the way, she went from selling the community full time to buying a home and living the lifestyle full time as a resident. We caught up with her on a beautiful fall morning enjoying a day off at the pool.

“I have been here from the very beginning since 2000 and it’s just been a wonderful experience,” said Conrad, now a sales representative for Shea Homes at Victoria Gardens. “We made the decision in 2002 to move from an older home in DeLand and I am really fortunate to be able to live and work here at Victoria Park.”

Conrad knows DeLand well having been a long-time resident and feels Victoria Park is the only place to live for people in search of a place that truly has it all.

“There are just so many wonderful attributes here. The setting is beautiful and amenities are great,” Conrad said. “But it’s really the small town lifestyle where neighbors come together that make this such a great place to call home.”

She says selling Victoria Park is easy. “It’s definitely something I believe in so it is really gratifying to help buyers find their new home at Victoria Park. Once I introduce folks to this community and they decide to become residents they usually can’t wait to be a part of the lifestyle.”
